I'm looking for a good quality IWB holster for a model 23 Glock. Does anyone have any good (or bad) experiences?
How about selection, what local establishment is likely to have some examples on hand to try?
Also, is Thunderwear (or whatever it's called now) a reasonable option for this sized weapon?
Thanks.

I'm strongly recommending K&D -- www.kdholsters.com -- and D&D Gunleather -- http://www.defensetactics.com/dandd.htm -- the home of the "Undershirt" tuckable IWB, which Mitch Rosen has (with permission) copied as the "Workman." I have both a Rosen and two Workman-made "Undershirt" holsters, and like them a lot.
It's possible to use Thunderwear with something the size of a Glock 23, but it's only recommended (by me, at least) for people with flat stomachs.

Comp-tac's C-TAC holster works great for me. FWIW, I am 6-1, and about 190 pounds. It is easily adjustable for cant, and, if you get the slide version, it works great for many different sized Glocks. I use mine for a G-17 in the winter, and my G26 in the summer. It also holds up to sweat much better than the leather holster I was using.

Yet another option for you is a holster called the watch 6 from Lou Alessi.
He makes top quality leather holsters that are VERY comfortable.
I have mine for my G23, and it hides the pistol very well.
Let me know if you'd like information on where to find it. Just ask around though, many people should be able to tell you of the quality holsters Lou puts out.

I use a Blade-Tech IWB that fits all the standard width Glocks, so there's plenty of flexibility in my carry gun choice. The Michaels of Oregon IWB can be an affordable choice, also. The downside is that there isn't any give in the Kydex, and that can affect the comfort level.

I've read good things about 'The Answer' - http://shop.store.yahoo.com/rlcompanyusa/answer.html - it's about $125.
I was on the verge of ordering one but went with a Comp-Tac CTAC Slide instead ($75). I've carried my full size 1911 in the Comp-Tac since I got my permit in September and I like it. The tuckability is very handy.

I just got my holster in the mail from comp-tac.I sent back a tuckable to be converted to a CTAC.They did the conversion for $35 and I had it back in 1 week by regular mail.I had the clip break twice on the original, they sent me a new clip the first time at no charge, the second time the holster was a couple years old and out of warranty. I think the forward clip will alleviate the stress on the rear clip[too much force on a single clip]Oh yeah,it's for my Kahr P-9.All in all I am happy with the company, good service and pricing. The CTAC is very well made,I just tried it on and it is very comfortable, the leather parts between the kydex holster and the belt attachments conform very well, this may be the most comfortable kydex iwb I have tried. With the range of adjustments available,it should fit just about anyone.
