i emailed bob mika because i couldn't get his website to work and ordered a pocket holster. i asked him to give me a call and i would give him my credit card number, just so i would know the total. he said he would send the holster to me without payment and if i liked it, i could send him a check when i received it, if i didn't i could just pass it on to someone else.
needless to say that is a level of service you just do not get these days. not only did he send it to me unpaid, but he sent it in less than a week.
i think if anyone is in the market they should give him a try. my holster was $18.95 including s&h and i have carried it everyday since i got it. i really like it and would recommend this honest and ethical business man. he also is just one state over, in wisconsin (trying to keep it local). his website is

Bob is definitely a class act and his holsters are the best value I've found. His J-frame holster is my everyday carry rig.

Your experience is not a fluke. He has a great attitude, provides great service, and builds a good product.
He accidentally sent me two holsters even though I only ordered and paid for one. I passed the spare on to another shooter for free, and I spread the news about Mika whenever I can.

There's a link at the bottom of the first post.
Don't feel bad, I missed it too.
edited to add: The above link is to the Order section. Here's a link to the front page:

The stuff looks good. I might end up ordering a new pocket holster.

Based on the high praise he is receiving here lately, I placed an order with him this morning...
More to follow after it arrives...

Well, my IWB arrived today...
I must say, that Mr. Mika is WAY underpriced. Everything that has been said about him is true... Fantastic to work with, reasonably priced (underpriced if you ask me), and a great product...
This link should take you to my "Mika Holster" photo album.
EDIT: The reason there is such a long period of time between my "ordered it" and "got it" posts was MY fault... Turns out I fat-fingered the number of my address, so my holster made a round trip back to Robert before I got him my non-fat-fingered address...

Shhh... don't tell him that.
I got my first Mika holsters a couple of weeks ago; I've ordered a third. Nice work, and the price only a little more than the Uncle Mike's -- which is perfectly serviceable.

Resurrecting a dead thread (but I think it needs doing):
I just recieved my Mika pocket holster (in under a week), and it's WONDERFUL! Anyone who's willing to send the holster out without having been paid first, and is only charging an extremely reasonable amount to boot, certainly deserves our business. What a class act- who says customer service is dead?

Just make sure that once in a while you clean out the pocket lint and stuff that collects your pocket holster. Get too much grit in there and it'll wear on the finish of your gun.
I may have mentioned it before, but I've been very pleased with my Mika pocket holster. It's my daily carry holster for my J-Frame.
