Yikes. All I got in response to my change of address notice to Sheriff Fletcher last year was a snotty letter saying I needed to come down and pay for a new card...or turn in my existing card if I no longer needed it. After a good chuckle, I filed it away and did nothing.

Yup. He got the same letter, filed it, and now got the citation.

Assuming this goes to a hearing, anybody up for livetweeting it?

I would think a terse letter from Marc Berris, or any other competent attorney, should clear this up right quick.

How many times do Sheriff Fletcher and his goons have to get their pee-pees slapped before they finally realize they can't make up their own laws?

Sure. But how much do you want to ask Marc to spend his time on a letter over a $25 ticket?

Lots.

But, if this doesn't go away, a livetweetering of the hearing on this ticket might help . . .

Certified mail and the confirmation letter...err demand for $10 letter...should make this case a quick toss in court. Now, how to arrange the peepee slap?

First, you gotta get the salt on the tail of the bird. But, do remember that we're talking about RCSO and Dave "Good Guy" Rossman. They may just be stupid enough to push this $25 ticket, and Webster has said publicly that he's ready to fight this: "I'll fight it all the way."

Tweet party! And I just tipped a reporter, too, although I don't know why I should have to; there's a few who follow me on twitter.

I'm liking this.
