Officer Timothy Edward Carson was sentenced to eight years for bank robbery. It's important to note that Carson is guilty, guilty, and guilty, having pled guilty to the charges and the specifics.

By a remarkable coincidence, he was an MPD SWAT officer.

Carson's personal history sounds, before he went bad, a combination of heroic and horrible. Then again, most folks who end up in prison had horrible personal histories.
