 Hennepin County At the 30 Day Limit

Took my renewal app in today. The clerk said the permit would be mailed out in 30 days. I asked what if you got done with the checks before then. He looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my forehead and replied, "The permit will be mailed out in 30 days."

You have to love public servants. :roll:

The wife applied on the afternoon of Dec 1st, 2008. 1 Month later would be Jan 1st, 2008. No postoffice delevery on the 1st. as I recall. I'm betting Jan 2nd.

This might help, your wife's permit is granted on Dec 31 :D :D :D

30 day hath September, April, June and November, all other months have 31 excepting February alone which has 28 each year and 29 in Leap years.

My renewal application was submitted on Dec. 1st. Still no card in today's mail (Jan 2nd).

Hennepin was at 30 days as of today 1/2/09 for my Mom's permit app. So if it's not in the mail tomorrow I'm guessing a the course of action would be a polite reminder to Sheriff Stanek to follow the law. 8)

My permit renewal arrived today 01/03/2009.

Applied 12/01/2008
Permit was mailed 01/02/2009

Nice to see Hennepin County "almost" following the law. :roll:

Both my neighbor and I took the new permit class together and filed at the same time/day and both of us received our permits on the 30th day.
