I applied on 9-29-08, and had still no response on 11-3-08 when I called. I was told to check the mail when I got home and call tomorrow if it wasn't there. So I called this morning, and they were going to re-issue. I was told if it happens to show up today to call them back so they can cancel the re-issue. Just so happens that it was in the mail slot today. So I applied the 29th of sept, it was issued the 27th of oct, but postmarked the 3rd of nov? Not sure what happened, but I finally have my permit!

What happened? They were in no particular hurry to stick it in the mailbox once they metered it. Petty.

Metering it when it is done and then sitting on it to the last minute is SOP for Henn.

I've got an inside ocntact that told me their directive from the sheriff is do the bare minimum to comply.

They actually went past the 30 days to mail it. I could understand if I had some questionable issues, but my record is clean as a whistle.
