today was day 30 for me in Dakota.. I thought I was the only one.. apparently not..

Not on the forum much??

having just recently moved into dakota county, can't say I was watching for many threads on Dakota..

My permit did arrive today, 35 days after dropping it off..

I also will say I hate how it looks compared to my old Hennepin county permit. Laminated, huge piece of paper.. may trim it down some to fit in my wallet.

I turned my application in on Tuesday, the lady that took it said that it would take 30 days. I asked how long it would actually take she said 30 days. When I brought up that I heard it was taking long than 30 days. She said that they are running about 36 days as for now and if they keep getting applications like they have been it could easily get pushed back to 40 days.

So then it would not take 30 days.

It sounds like quite the Monty Python sketch you had going on there.

Keep your receipt, it's your permit if you are not denied w/in 30 days, then let them take as long as they want.
