A guy at work went and applied for his carry permit on Monday a couple of weeks ago, and got it the following Wednesday. My question is, this guy is from Wisconsin. Are they giving Cheeseheads preferential treatment?

Maybe they feel sorry for the poor disarmed subjects of Doyleville.

Seriously: they're just doing a good, service-oriented job, and getting it down quickly and efficiently.

I agree with you Joel. It is too bad we are so used to slow service from government, that we are shocked when something is done with efficiency. It just makes it worse for those of you who have to put up with waiting the entire 30 days. That just makes us all more suspicious of the agenda's in those counties.

I like Andrew's take on it too

I dunno. I doubt I could get a lot more suspicious of Jim "146 out of 87 denials" Fletcher, and David "Boy Wonder" Rossman.

Works just fine, and, hey, even if it didn't, folks really do get to make their own calls.
