Post subject:  WOW Andrew has the pull

I took Andrew Rothman's permit to carry class on Saturday 7-11-09.

Fortunately, I passed due in large part to the high quality of the instruction and the instructor.

Andrew was very patient with everyone but me especially

I am from out of state and was busy Sunday and Monday helping my kid rebuild his deck.

I returned home Tuesday 7-14-09 going south on 169 and chose to drop off my paperwork at the Nicollet Co.
Sheriff's office. The process there was absolutely painless the deputies helpful beyond all measure
even making copies of my DL and certificate of completion. The uniformed officer, Barb, even
walked me through the application so there would be no errors.

I just walked out to the mailbox and lo and behold there is a letter from Dave Lange Nicollet Co Sheriff's
Office. I thought it can't be the permit so quickly I wonder what I did wrong on the application. I squeezed
the envelope feeling for a laminated card - I didn't feel one. I opened the envelope with shaking hands and
out dropped my brand new permit to carry a pistol expires 7-15-14.

Can ANYONE beat three days application to issue? Holy I mean HOLY cow!

The only downside was a letter included from some judge feels he is above the law,
administrative order 16.

BTW Thanks again Andrew!

Nicollet County has done this several times, usually a Monday application and a new permit card in hand on Thursday.

Yep, and I assume you are talking about the letter from the Judge Smith that says that you cannot possess ammunition while in the area of the courthouse complex, parking lot and sidewalks immediately adjacent courthouse.
