Maybe Gudmundson could use some of that $55,000 profit he made from permit issuing last year, and bring in a temp or two until they got caught up, or pay some overtime to a current employee.

Not ideal, not in compliance, but it sure beats the, "Hopefully Monday" and he at least gave a damn.

Nevermind... He didnt give a damn, he lied to me to get me off the phone...

Called again yesterday, they told me it was in a pile of 70 that had been approved and are in the mail today....

I guess we'll see.

No, you were right. He did lie, because he said he'd get them in the mail on the 7th -- a week ago.

This makes him the perpetrator of two of the three biggest lies: "The check is in the mail," and "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."

Was he just re-elected? If not who will run against him. Find and mail that person a check and let the current sheriff a copy of the check once you get your permit. Let him know you will do everything you can do to get him unseated.
