Lt. Govenor Ron Ramsey on his play date at the gun range

When they're not passing new bills about guns, dreaming about guns, or trying to have amorous relations with guns, the Tennessee legislature is playing with guns.

Yesterday, 75 elected officials headed to the range to shoot stuff with their hosts Hero-Gear and Barrett Firearms. While there's nothing wrong with a day at the range, should that many public officials be on a play date when there's work to be done?

I dont like the tone this author has, but Im sure glad that the TN legislatures are getting some experience with guns. "See, they're not dangerous, they're fun!"

While this sounds like a really good idea, the thought of politicians with guns is kind of frightening....

(We don't generally allow the criminally insane to own guns. Just a thought.)
