Does this nut actually think that the Gangsta's/ers (both types) that live in D.C. are actually going to be the ones to do a "terrorist attack" on D.C.? Nickles must be smokin' a dime with this one. A DC AWB won't stop anything.

Nickles: Gun Amendment Would Raise Terror Risk

D.C. Attorney General Peter Nickles says a congressional amendment to weaken the city's gun laws would make the region more vulnerable to a terrorist attack.

Testifying Friday before a House subcommittee, Nickles said D.C. is already vulnerable because it is home to the federal government and numerous iconic buildings such as the White House.

As a result, he said, "the district is the last place where residents across the country would want to allow assault weapons."

Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., has attached the amendment to a bill that would give D.C. its first full vote in Congress. Among other things, the amendment would repeal the city's restrictions on semiautomatic weapons and gun registration requirements.

Friday's hearing comes as Democratic leaders strategize on how to move the voting rights legislation forward in the House.

Doesn't this maroon see that the favorite weapon of a terrorist is a suicide belt?

He's barking up the wrong tree on this one, it's belts that should be outlawed and all should be made to wear suspenders. :x

I absolutely do think he believes that. These people are so insulated from reality sitting in their high throne ruling over the masses (I also believe this is how they see themselves) that there is no impediment to creating this type connection.

Example:

Guns=Bad
Terrorist=Bad
Guns=Terrorist

BTW, I saw a whole lot of guns at the effen Gopher Bar yesterday. While I half expected at least one of them (especially the one with the clip long enough to stick out past the back of his leg) to jump from its holster and shoot me in the face, it never happened.
