"How to Guide Small Arms and Light Weapons Legislation"

Chapter Three is quite informative, to say the least.

If you read it, start at page 24. That's where it gets interesting. They talk about the regulation of ammo, information gathering on purchasers of ammo, et cetera. Very much like they do at WalMart. "Is this for a handgun?" they ask.

A couple pages later they talk about regulating the firearm, two pages after that regulating the firearm owner. Very interesting stuff and all of it things we see proposed here in the States constantly.

Also note when they outline the steps toward outlawing guns, the implementation of new laws is step #8. Most of what they do leads up to that point ... info gathering and policy discussion and record keeping are the biggest precursors.

BTW, Nancy Pelosi has come out and said that "gun registration" is on her agenda. Now, we already have elaborate record keeping at the FFL level, elaborate transport and commerce laws. They know every gun being made, every gun being imported, and a record of every sale.

But that's not enough "registration". They want more. Yikes. You know what that means.

Sorry. I sold all my guns before registration became mandatory. To whom? Couldn't tell you, like I said, registration wasn't mandatory. 8)
