I though someone here might find this interesting, if they can get through the patent lingo.

I guess that would be fine if you only carried one round in your revolver and didn't want to pull the trigger 5 or 6 times before it would fire after you uncocked it.

Otherwise I don't see the point. Looks like a solution in search of a problem.

I'm with Ramoel on this. If you haven't shot, why bother? If you have shot, why wouldn't you reload? Seems about as much use, to me, as this: http://www.tarnhelm.com/murabito.html

Yawn. people get patents for useless stuff all the time, and this one is clearly in that category. The length of the patent, however, indicates somebody was willing to spend a fair amount of money on something they thought was going to be the next great brand of sliced bread. Typical independent inventor with no market knowledge, financial forecast or model, and obviously no insider contacts in the gun industry.
