I carried my EAA 10mm (14 +1) with a round in the chamber and the hammer down. Went out to Oakdale and did some draw and double tap drills with the hammer down, and my target died a really horrible death. :D

With my SA 50 GI it's cocked and locked with a round in the chamber, and I leave the safety on until I get the laser dot from my CT LG301's lined up on the target.
