This thing jumped me at the store.

It used to be the Beretta Cougar. Then Beretta turned it over to their subsidiary Stoeger, who makes it in their factory in Turkey and sells it to poor sods like me for a mere $350.

It has a metal frame (I like that) and is so easy to take down I could do it in my sleep (haven't tried yet). It's very comfortable to shoot, thanks to the rotating barrel action, and hasn't choked yet.

Oh these 9 millies are so dangerous!!!

Guns&Ammo gave that piece a great review (I think it was in the Jan '07 issue?....it was on the cover).

Thanks, now I have another $350 to explain to the wife. I read the Jan 07 G&A review and it sounds like I need to pick one up:

I'm first in line waiting for a 40 version at Sportsman's Warehouse and I can't wait. :D

I also bought the Blue Training gun for the Cougar so I can make holsters for it!

ACK!!! Am I the only one who's seeing an image here? I knew I shouldn't have gone off my meds ...

Help me out --- what's the best way to get the image back? Flowers? Candy? Cash?

No problem on my Mac at home, but it doesn't show up on my Mac at work. Must be the Windows machines running the firewall. ;)
