Nicely done Viper. What did you do with the upper from the SA? I need to find a gov't length upper for a Essex reciever I have, can't seem to get it to play well with a Colt Commander upper.

Yeah, he has some really nice stuff, the more I look at those spalted maple grips the more I think I need a set.

Thanks Scott, it is really nice to shoot and more accurate than I thought it would be. It worked out nice on the SA GI lower frame.
I'd consider it more for informal target shooting or just fun plinking, and a wee bit too long (7" bbl) for carry.... Unless you're the "Terminator" type :shock:

The SA upper was sold on GB (Gun Broker) last year shortly after I recieved the Longslide upper. That was partial funding on the build.

Check GB for all kinds of uppers in all price ranges and flavors. I'm sure you'd find something you couls easily use.
