I got this from my niece, who got it from her friend Emily, who got it from the Dean at Yale (where E is a student) register online at www.marrow.org and if you put in the promo code BK041309 --its only valid for the next week!-- you can do it all for free Quote: To the YSM Community, I am writing to bring a critical situation about one of our medical students to your attention. Natasha Collins is a first-year student who is battling leukemia and, at this time, does not have a match with a bone marrow donor. Please read a message from Natasha’s family below and consider registering as a potential bone marrow donor at http://www.marrow.org/JOIN/Join_Now/join_now.html Details are below. Thank you. Dean Robert J. Alpern, M.D. Ensign Professor of Medicine ---------------------- Become Natasha's Hero! Time Sensitive: April 24-30 Free Bone Marrow Donor Registration Online. |

I've been on the marrow donor list for years, without ever being called and just aged out of it at 62. I'm still a regular blood donor though. It's amazing how few people I can talk into either one though. |
