Stopped in and talked to Dave at HD Wednesday morning. He told me that the two of you were talking about me on Saturday (after your class?). I says to Dave, "All bad I'm sure." He refused to elaborate. Just kidding. BTW, me and a guy you went to school with (and are still friends with), are going shooting on Sunday south of Mankato at Red Bear's range. Oh, I'm currently on my wife's sh*t list because I 'just had to' stop there. I put one of these on lay-away (along with a Leupold 4x14x40 scope, riser & scope mounts/rings. http://www.dpmsinc.com/firearms/firearm.aspx?id=14

I put one of these on lay-away (along with . . . Um, yeah, that'd do it. What project or item immediately sprang to the wife's mind that woulda been a better way to spend the money?

Well, she was pissed until I reminded her that I handed over 2 weeks of my vacation pay to her back in Feb. THAT WAS planned as 'gun money' for me (I don't take vacations). So, over all, she's still about $400 'up' compared to what I spent (am spending). I also set aside my quarterly safety bonuses (up to $1800 a year), for gun and ammo purchases. I got a quarterly safety bonus check coming in about 2-3 weeks. I hear a bunch of ammo calling my name.

Lucky you!! I'm Jealous. I've been salmon fishing on lake Michigan 3-4 times with my Dad. Nothing like tying into a big King Salmon. Lots of fun.
