Is it just me or are the punks getting out of hand in the cities of Anoka and Ramsey? Just about every morning a new house is TP's, trach cans spiled out in the street, small animals being killed, and various other jack ass activities. I have a good idea who they are and they range in age from 12-14. This morning on my morning run they seem to be busy last night.

Don't know about where you are, since I live in the south metro, but I believe that kids like this have learned that there are really no ramifications to mis-behaving.
Even if they get caught, they probably won't get in any trouble.

Schools won't discipline students for fear of lawsuits or out of political correctness. Parents won't discipline their own kids.
The courts won't punish them either.

Basically what is standard today and what the police said. A good 30 houses were hit. Looks like a night patrol with a maglite and some 100 mph tape.

We recently moved to Ramsey only to find that our neighborhood has been the target of vandals, too. There is a good idea of who is doing it, but no proof and the parents refuse to allow the police to question them.

That's the problem, if a parent disciplines their kid, the kid has been taught from an early age to call 911 or social services. The schools don't do jack except detention or suspension. So, that leaves people's hands tied.

This is a job for some moderately priced night vision video cameras.

I now have 2 x $40 cameras from Sam's Club. I haven't used them outside to see how far they see yet.

Caught the fuckers!! They hit my mail box last night so I half way stood it up and after 11 PM tonight me and Mr. Maglite sat in the backyard. As I heard them coming I crept up the side of the house and watched the punk whack my mail box with his skateboard. Charged him and took him out from behind as his "buddies" ran. Called it in to 911 and the Anoka PD caught the other four down the street. 8)

A 13 year old, he rolled on the 17-18 year olds that did most of the neighborhood. His parents have loaned him to us for a few weeks for extra duty.

They just came from Bosnia a few years ago and the parents came and apologized to us this morning. Good people, would mind trading our lefties for more people who appreciate being here.

I hope you have a number of wholesome yet onerous tasks for him to complete.
