Any idea on turn around time in Goodhue county ? I submitted mine on 12/15/08.
Just wondering as it took them 4 weeks for my Permit to Purchase (transfer) which is suppose to take 7 days max. Had to send them and email asking what is the hold up thne recieved it 2 days later.
thanks

Last year I got mine 29 days after filing the paperwork. They seem to be another county that takes as long as legally possible.

when i got mine i never actually talked to the sherriff himself. it was always to a female sargeant. she seemed to be the reason behind it taking so long. she has to do all the leg work on purchase permits and carry permits along with other stuff im sure. it kinda seemed to me that albers had passed the buck to her to do all the work so all he has to do is sign his name and hes done. thats just the feeling i got at the time. i spent a lot of time on the phone with the sargeant and she generally seemed nice and helpful but quite overburdened. she was repeately appoligizeing to me. i think its more of an issue with the sherriff delegating the work properly.

I believe the person completing the permits is Kris Wies (not 100% on her last name) ???. That is who I worked with. I got the impression that is her job as she is the one posted on there website to handle CCW and purmit to purchase.
I did get my CCW on 1/17/09
