funny I used to keep a .22 lr in the levi jeans red tag on my jean jacket when I was in high school (you wouldnt get expelled back then) and I cant believe it could have went off and killed me all on its own.

Then handed it to a cop who would be scared and walked away!

So, if it is so dangerous to pick up a .22 round (because, who knows, it might just spontaneously explode) why would anyone belong to a gun club? What exactly do British gun club members do with their guns without ammo?
