Any word on the NRA PERSONAL PROTECTION OUTSIDE THE HOME course? I see they have a list of certified instructors up now.

DonL and I are on the list (invite only) to get our certifications so that we can teach Instructors. Should happen in the next couple of months.

One of us will post when we have firm dates or possible dates.

patience grasshopper :)

Yes Obi Wan, I will redouble my efforts.

Since I kinda got my chops busted(privately, but nicely) for possibly coming across a little snooty (my choice of words)on this answer ...let me rephrase it.

Myself and several others on the forum have been following the PPOTH closely and trying to get certified since last fall. As usual the publicity has been well in advance of any implementation.

Our persistence has paid off in terms of having our names put on a "by invitation only" class list...........and we have yet to receive dates or confirmation.

There are only a limited number of senior and master training counselors certified to conduct the classes which by the sound of it are limited to a class size of 12 students. Hopefully in the next few months we will be able to actually receive our training which will then allow us to conduct the course.

We are doing our best to get certified as quickly as possible.
Does that help?

Do, or do not,

So you gotta ask yourself....

Do you feel lucky?
