Will be out of town, ND, that weekend. Have my NH permit so I can carry across the state line.

Alas, I can't; I've got a class somewhat nearby. (And I may be using the lunch break to appear on the NARN show; we'll see . . . )

Northern Alliance Radio Network -- AM1280, Saturdays. I've been on a fair number of times, and it's no secret that one of the hosts, Mitch Berg, thinks I do a good job in the carry classes, as he's said publicly that he took his training from me, and been very complementary, even though the training wasn't complimentary (it would have been payola, and neither he or I do that sort of thing).

Digressions:

I don't identify my students unless I've either specific permission or they've publicly identified themselves as that. Folks are entitled to their own privacy.

I recommend Mitch's blog for those who either are of a conservative bent, or would like to read well-written (if often somewhat lively) writings of a conservative bent. He's a good guy.

don't have my plans totally figured out for the weekend yet, so I'm a certain maybe again...

edit: Now looking more like a probably... confirmed that another thing is Sat. afternoon, so breakfast should work. sounds like we'll be missing several due to IDPA - just WHO is responsible for scheduling a shoot on breakfast day? the nerve!

Tough choice, IDPA or breakfast.

I will probably opt for IDPA but that will depend on how I feel.

Ahh shucks. I'd like too be there, especially as I like the Sheepdog Security idea that I've heard is gong to be talked about there. But seeing as I'll be hanging out with Joel and finally getting my permit...
