In June, we attempted a last minute fun shoot.
Due to several fiasco's, it was canceled at the last minute.
I am proud to announce it is back on and rescheduled.
15 July, Sunday.
Start time, 7 AM or whenever you get there.
End time, 10 PM or whenever you leave.
Cost is $10 per non-member to attend Sunday only. $20 for camping and attending Saturday and Sunday.
There is camping available for both tents and RV's if you would like to come down the night before and make it a Weekend affair.
Rifle range, Pistol Range, Trap, Black powder, Running Deer all available.
Caliber is open to whatever you want to bring.
Single shot, full auto, small bore, big bore, from a .17 HMR to a 12 pound howitzer if you like. Tannerite is welcome also.
Please post only if you will be coming and what you could bring for the feast.
There is running water, but I would bring bottled.

Sounds like too much fun. I will bring a gaggle of different handguns for folks to try...I assume everyone will "share" ! Will also bring a Mosin, AR, AK and Thompson if anyone wishes to give them a try. I also assume others will similarly do the same
As to the feast, I'll bring snackies...salty and sweet.
Looking forward to it....thanks FarmerJ ....

Good chance I'll stop by on Sunday and I'll bring a crapload of toys with me. I will probably be early to the event as I have to be to work by 1pm in Willmar.

I'd provide a link but THR seems to be down (again). I can't buy it myself because it'd be too expensive, because then I'd have to start buying rifles.

Pat, you could always shoot it with your pistol and at 21 ft you could redo your picture sans eyebrows and mustache...........

Is this going to be in Cokato?
I'm going to be heading back from "up north" that day. I could maybe make a stop in.

Yes, this will be in Cokato.
I will be posting directs in a couple weeks for the location and how to get to the Rainbow SPortsman's Club.

As I mentioned to phorvick today, my son and I will be there. We'll see how early I can drag him out of the sack. I'll bring some brats & buns unless I think of something better.
As far as guns, I have only my boring old revolvers.
See ya there!

See ya there! Yes...we will have a great time. I plan on bringing about 20 different models/styles/calibers of handguns for folks to try, and an AR, AK47 (2), Mosin-Nagant, and semi-auto Tommy Gun...
That is part of the fun at such get-togethers....the sharing of the various weaponry!
