Update on the steel shoot, two weeks from tomorrow at Hutchinson.

I expect we will have a similar format to previous shoots, but we can be flexible if others have good ideas.

About 96 rounds (assuming no misses) will be needed!

Don't forget your sunscreen and hydration :!: :!: :!:

Being new here; what is a "steel shoot" and what goes on at one?
Thanks

Take a look at this thread: http://www.mnguntalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=15

It should answer most of your questions.

You are correct sir. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

As to the times question, I think the 11am start worked well last time, so let's do it again. Volunteers to help setup at 9:30 please.

as for the "what's a steel shoot?"

All the targets are made of thick steel plate (so you don't have to patch the holes), we shoot each of 4 stages 4 times against the clock. The best 3 times in all four stages are totaled for the match. Then we have a man v man shoot on a rating ladder         .............don't ask just come and shoot.

We promise everyone goes home under their own power.
